Born in Geneva, Julien Marolf trained as a stone carver, in marble. His work focuses on the human’s role in society. With his two brothers, Vincent, a jeweler, and Nicolas, painter/printmaker/set designer, they created the 3M group dedicated to creating art.
Marolf has exhibited his work since 1992 throughout French-speaking Switzerland, France and Germany.
He is a member of Visarte Valais since 2000, and was vice-president from 2005 to 2010.
He lives in Lavey-Village and works in Saint-Maurice.
